About Mark
I am a commodities investor and speculator. I run The Commodity Community — a focused group of people who analyse and invest in commodities and commodity companies together.
My investing journey began around 2000. For roughly twenty years I lost money across stocks, oil wells, property and crypto. The turning point came when I stopped chasing tips and started building a real skillset: proper technical analysis, a clear process for valuing mining companies, and the discipline to focus only on large (Tier-1 potential) deposits with proven management.
I writeĀ my weekly reports for two reasons. First, writing forces clearer thinking. Second, the goal is not to tell anyone what to buy. It is to give members the tools and frameworks so they can improve their own analysis and take full responsibility for their decisions.
The Training section is there for the same reason. It organises the core methods — valuation, technical tools, mental models and company analysis — into a clear learning path so members can build the skillset systematically rather than piecing it together from individual reports and various sources.
I also share the specific trading and buy/sell signals I am acting on. These are published in the reports, on the website and discussed live on our Discord server, where information, questions and ideas move quickly through the community.
I am not a licensed financial advisor. Everything shared is for education and discussion only. I hold positions in various commodities and commodity companies in my personal capacity.
The community exists for people who want to do the work — study the charts, understand the deposits, and compound over years rather than weekends.
